Madhuri dixit is famous Indian actress, known for roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun. She started her career in 1980s. The role she played in the role of Anil Kapoor in the film Tezaab made her hugely famous. Then she appeared in the film Dil In which she was on screen alongside Aamir Khan. When she was a kid her Mumbai-born dancer started studying at a very early age. As a teenager She began to act and struggled for years as the majority of her first films were failures. She found fame and became one of the top film actresses. Following her wedding the actress took time to rest from her acting career before returning. In the past, she was an important role in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the struggle of women living in India. Dixit received fifteen Filmfare Awards nominations, of which she took home eight. Padma Shri is the fourth most prestigious civilian award in India. The award was also given to her for her efforts in the social sector.
