Rosalia
Rosalia Vila is an Spanish flamenco and pop singer. From her teens, she's been involved with the edges of traditional and popular music. Additionally, she plays with genres like hip-hop trap and soul. Her voice has been described by no less a talent than flamenco musician Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp and with a bite that is similar to those of the past. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist the follow-up album for 2018 El Mal Querer was a huge commercial and critical hit topping Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately receiving an Grammy. In 2021, her track La Fama with The Weeknd was released. Motomami featured songwriting partnerships with numerous artists such as Cory Henry, James Blake and others. The release date was March 20, 2022, after the show on Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish soloist to appear on Saturday Night Live. Rosala from Motomami who was awarded the Latin Album of the Year and 3 Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami and was the first woman to do so.
