MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream is being influenced by his international impact. In the year 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. His debut album ADN was issued by La Industria Inc., located in Medellin, a Sony distribution firm. It peaked at 8 places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit for Ozuna and him in the following year. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel on Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina that year. His father and brother are both musicians. According to him, music is a vital part of his life. As a child, he was taught to play the piano, saxophone as well as guitar. His initial goal was to be a veterinarian, his brother Julian convinced him to take singing lessons from the help of a Cuban instructor and as a result of recognizing his gift as a musician changed the direction of his life.
