Angelica Panganiban, a Filipino American model and actress who also serves as a TV hostess as well as a comedian. Panganiban has been referred to as the Queen of Drama across various media. Panganiban's range of talents and expertise in the field of acting is widely recognized. She finished the competition with a second place, becoming the youngest winner in the show's history. Angelica Hale became very sick in 2012 when she was just 4 years old old. She was diagnosed with double pneumonia caused by an aggressive strain of strep-pneumococcal. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston was forced to place Angelica Hale onto ECMO Life-Support after she desperately needed life-saving medical intervention. It was not until her kidneys recovered that she could be saved following the onset of an infection with septicae and eventually had multiple organ failure. Hemodialysis and later peritoneal dialysis became her new normal. After 80 straight days in hospital, from near-death to long road towards recovery, she got home, however her life was forever changed. After nearly a year and half of dialysis Angelica was ready for the biggest surgery in her life: a kidney transplant. Her mother was the one who would donate the kidney. On September 13 2013 Angelica and her mom went through the successful transplantation of their kidney at two remarkable hospitals right across from each other-Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young girl from Atlanta who has always thought of becoming an actor as well as a performer she is still working toward that goal.
